Dennis Izquierdo is a Cuban artist living in Havana.  Izquierdo explores the historical, cultural and social stories of his country through the lens of his personal experiences.  He was among 12 Cuban artists exhibiting in "Dilated Biography: Contemporary Cuban Narratives" curated by Jorge Fernandez Torres at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.  He is a graduate of the Academy of Visual Arts "El Alba", Holguín Province, Cuba and served on the Faculty of Visual Arts at the University of Arts (ISA), Havana, Cuba.
